Gymnastics - Women's

Gymnastics is one of Multnomah Athletic Club’s longest-standing sports that has a solid foundation in the community and allows young athletes to experience a social culture mixed with an athletic mentality. Club gymnasts train within the USA Gymnastics Men’s and Women’s Developmental Program, which includes boy’s Club Track and girl’s Xcel. Athletes dedicate years to developing the artistry and strength required to achieve their greatest potential. The MAC program has a history of success with multiple national, regional, and state champions. The coaching staff are passionate professionals who are leaders in the sport and provide a positive and inclusive environment for all athletes.

Following her move to Portland, Taylor joined the MAC recreational coaching staff where her passion for the sport and success of athletes has only further deepened over the last two years. In 2013 he graduated with his Bachelor's in Psychology and started coaching recreational gymnastics at Precision Elite Gymnastics. He quickly became a team coach for levels 3 through 5, but left after 2 years to coach at NGTC. Charlie was the recreational director there and coached levels 4 and 5. In 2019, his level 4 team won Oregon's state championship. During COVID, Charlie started working at Northpointe as an optional girls coach and head boys team coach. The discovery of a tumor on his spinal cord forced him to step away from coaching for surgery, physical therapy, and recuperation. It has been 4 long, hard years, but Charlie has successfully made his way back, and he could not be more happy to be working at MAC!
