Alpine Ski & Snowboard
Multnomah Athletic Club's program is a Bronze Level Certified U.S. Ski & Snowboard Club, offering season-long winter programs, training camps and dry-land conditioning for athletes ages six to adult. Compete in the sports of Alpine Ski Racing, Free Skiing, Snowboarding, and Nordic. The experienced, certified coaching staff takes athletes to the next level, wherever they are in their journey. MAC Ski & Snowboard believes in a holistic approach to the development of young competitors, athletically, academically, and socially, through partnership with parents, teachers, and mentors. Core values are taught in a positive team environment on a daily basis, providing athletes experiences and lessons that will help them become the best version of themselves in sport and life.

Get to know our Program Director
Rackley started skiing at the age of 2 on the slopes of Mt. Hood. At age 9 he started ski racing on the local club team. In 2009, he finished a 16-year ski-racing career, which saw him compete in four USCSA National Championships for the College of Idaho, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, and at the North American Elite FIS level. Rackley spent four seasons as a professional instructor and trainer with Beaver Creek Ski School in Vail and Beaver Creek, Colorado, and has been leading the MAC Ski & Snowboard Team since 2013. In 2015, Rackley spearheaded the US Ski & Snowboard Club Certification campaign, making MAC Ski & Snowboard the first Nationally Certified Club in the Pacific Northwest (PNW) Division. Since 2019, Rackley has served on the PNW Board of Directors as the Director of Alpine. His certifications and awards include: Top of the Class, 2015 National Coaches Academy, Level 300 Certified Alpine Coach, SkillsQuest Evaluator, Alpine Chief of Race, Alpine Coach Developer, US Ski and Snowboard; and Alpine Level 2 and Children's Specialist 2 Certified Instructor, PSIA (Professional Ski Instructors of America).
