Volleyball Coaches
Danielle Kellis - Head Coach
With over seven years of coaching experience spanning beginner to adult levels, Dani brings a dynamic blend of leadership, technical expertise, and athlete-focused development to her role as Club Volleyball Director at the Multnomah Athletic Club.
Now entering her fourth season with MAC, Dani has worn many hats within the volleyball program, serving not only as a coach but also as the strength and conditioning lead for volleyball and a personal trainer specializing in sports performance. Most recently, she led the 16-1 team to a #1 regional ranking in 2025, exemplifying her ability to develop high-performing teams built on trust, discipline, and competitive excellence.
Dani’s coaching philosophy is grounded in five core values: grit and resilience, fostering growth mindset, compassion, accountability, and a commitment to developing well-rounded athletes and individuals. She is passionate about cultivating a culture where players feel supported both on and off the court, and where success is measured not only by wins, but by character and growth.
What excites Dani most about leading the MAC volleyball program is the unmatched sense of community. “This volleyball family is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. Our athletes have access to world-class coaching, strength and conditioning resources, personalized lessons, and state-of-the-art facilities, but more importantly, they’re part of a close-knit program where every player is known and supported.”
As Head Coach, Dani is committed to maintaining the MAC standard of excellence while continuing to elevate the experience for every athlete who walks through the gym doors.
