MAC Basketball 2024 - 2025

Multnomah Athletic Club's  Junior Basketball has competitive teams available for youth in fifth through eighth grades. These teams provide players with the best possible opportunities to improve their knowledge and skills through high-quality practices and games. Tryouts are held in November, with the season running November through March. MAC basketball teams compete locally, regionally, and nationally.

Basketball Coaches

Head Coach Jon Willis

Coach Willis is active with the Boys and Girls Club and the grassroots basketball scene. He has a heart for young people and developing coaches. Jon’s passion for community service has led him to run camps, clinics and give motivational speeches all over the PNW. Jon has a beautiful wife, Erika and three amazing children, Kai, Preston, and Maya. Jon enjoys working in his lawn and vegetable garden. He is full of positive energy and is looking forward to enhancing the MAC Competitive basketball program.

Reggie Guyton

Reggie is in his 1st year with the MAC and 8th overall. He has NCAA Division I and overseas playing experience. His BA is in Human Development and he is looking forward to helping kids learn the game of basketball. Outside of the MAC he is an insurance agent.

Brandon Hellstrom

Brandon is in his 1st season at MAC and 15th overall. He played high school in Alaska and college at Warner Pacific. He has coached high school and college levels. Brandon has spent time running exposure camps and tournaments with Max Hoops. Outside of the MAC he is a PE Teacher at Glencoe High School

Kendall Thompson

Kendall is in his 2nd year coaching at MAC. He has been playing basketball since 3rd grade and one year at Palomar College. He is looking forward to seeing the kid’s progression from last year and through this year. Outside of the MAC he is a Wildland Firefighter and Supervisor at Ace Hardware.

Imani Waddell

Imani is in his 2nd year at the MAC, 7th overall coaching basketball. He has played since middle school and is looking forward to the continued development of the players to help them be ready for high school. Outside of the MAC Imani works as an Armed Courier Technician.

Jock White

Jock is in his 3rd year with MAC and 10th overall. He played for 16 years and has his associate degree. He is looking forward to watching the kids progress during the season. Outside of the MAC he works for the Park District.
