All-Star Boys Basketball featuring Marshall Cho (elite boys ages 15 to 18)
Structured for players with several years of team, AAU or high school experience, this camp is for boys who are seriously interested in playing basketball. It teaches the skills of the game to prepare players for their high school or college programs. The three-day, three hour sessions provide a balance between teaching team concepts and side games that campers can incorporate into their offseason training. In addition, a sports psychologist works with athletes’ mental game, including focus, confidence and pressure. When registering, it is required that you submit your athlete’s experience. At least three years of team, AAU or High School experience is required. MAC staff may suggest alternative camps to ensure all athletes benefit. This camp is led by Marshall Cho, current head boys coach at Lake Oswego High School and USA Basketball clinician and support staff member. With experiences pulled from his coaching stops at DeMatha Catholic, University of Portland, and USA Basketball, the camp sessions will reflect the drills and concepts emphasized at those programs.

Baller Boys Basketball featuring Nick Robertson (competitive boys ages 8 to 14)
This camp is for boys with a passion for the game and who strive to play at the high school level. During the camp, a sports psychologist works with athletes on their mental game, including focus, confidence, pressure and performance. After initial assessments, groups are made based on skill level, not age. When registering, it is required that you submit your child’s experience (at least two years of team experience is required). MAC staff may suggest alternative camps to ensure all athletes benefit. This year’s competitive camp for boys features some highly touted MAC member coaches. Nick Robertson, the winningest high school coach in Oregon history, leads the first two hours of the camp, emphasizing individual basketball fundamentals and basketball-specific speed, agility and quickness. Herb Brown, former NBA and college coach; Ryan Menten, former collegiate player; David Lucas, former collegiate player; Steve Johnson, former collegiate and NBA player; and Michael Holton, former collegiate and NBA player, share their knowledge in the afternoon sessions on specialized skill sets, such as post play, guard play, rebounding and reading defense. This camp fine-tunes game fundamentals and focuses on competitive team play. Offensive and defensive systems are coached and put into game scenarios.
